WichettApp Studio

Agency accountability, without the agency.

Wichett App Studio is run by Daniel Wichett, a London developer who has spent 17 years building apps for clients, first as evilrockhopper Limited and now as Wichett App Studio.

In that time the work has ranged from a licensed TV quiz game to software that racing regulators rely on at the track, from Objective-C through to Swift 6, Kotlin and Next.js. Daniel has always run it as a small agency rather than a contractor: several clients at once, each on a fixed-price project with a clear end point.

The result is a studio that takes responsibility for the outcome, not just the hours.

  • No account managers

The person you talk to is the person building it, so nothing gets lost between a sales call and a sprint.

  • A handful of clients at a time

Enough variety to keep learning, few enough that each project gets proper attention.

  • Priced by the project

Fixed-price contracts, so you can budget for the job and not for a stream of invoices.

  • Here for the long run

Kim French and Event Log have both been working with the studio for years.
